  • Difficulty adjusting
  • Uncertainty and distress
  • Headaches or migraines
  • Muscular aches or cramps
  • Depressed mood
  • Anxiety or panic episodes
  • Fatigue and tiredness
  • Nightmares and flashbacks
  • Difficulty sleeping / insomnia
  • Difficulty concentrating or poor memory

  • Feeling frustrated, irritable or angry
  • Feeling weepy or tearful
  • Loss of energy or motivation
  • Changes in appetite and weight

  • and other symptoms not listed here

The concerns listed above are quite common following an injury and usually treatable with the help of an experienced Workcover approved Psychologist or counsellor.

As a part of the worker’s compensation scheme, you may be entitled to Psychologist treatment services in relation to your injury if it is recommended by your Treating Doctor.

If you obtain a WorkCover or Comcare medical certificate from your Treating Doctor indicating a recommendation that you see a Psychologist, you can contact us to receive these services at no cost to you.

In discussion with you, we will designate an appropriate Psychologist and we will seek approval for treatment from your insurer if required.

We will work with you, your doctor, and insurer, to assist in prompt assessment and treatment toward your psychological health.
